How to Crosslist to Facebook Marketplace (and Which Apps Can)

Facebook has no listing API for individual sellers, so every crosslister works through your browser. Which apps support it, which detect sales, and the limits.

Flyp, Vendoo, Crosslist, List Perfectly, PrimeLister and FLIPSAIL can all post to Facebook Marketplace, through your own signed-in browser, since Facebook has no listing API for individuals. Nifty, OneShop and Closo don't list it. Check sale detection before you choose: Vendoo's auto-delist list leaves Facebook out. Expect limits on new Facebook accounts.

Facebook Marketplace is a huge selling channel that many resellers skip. Meta says more than 3.5 million listings go up every day in the US and Canada. It's also the hardest one to automate. Its developer tools are for commerce partners rather than individual sellers, so crosslisters work through your signed-in browser, and that shapes what each tool can do.

Which crosslisting apps support Facebook Marketplace?

Six of the nine tools we checked post to Facebook Marketplace. Fewer say clearly whether they notice a Facebook sale, and that decides whether your other copies come down.

Vendors change these often. "Detects a sale" is what makes auto-delist work, so ask about Facebook specifically before you rely on it.

What makes Facebook Marketplace different to crosslist to

  • Your personal account does the selling. Vendoo says it can connect only a personal Marketplace account, not a Facebook Store, and it suggests brand-new users post their first item directly on Facebook.
  • New sellers face limits. Vendoo describes a probation period for new Marketplace sellers, with a cap on listings and no immediate shipping. Facebook publishes no number, so go slowly with a new account.
  • Shipping isn't guaranteed. Whether your account can ship depends on your account status, the item's category and whether Meta has turned it on for you. Local pickup is available to anyone.
  • Listings go through review. A new listing shows as "in review" and then goes live. In our testing that took minutes, so check that it went live before you count on it.
  • Sold means marked sold. Tools generally mark a listing as sold or delete it, and you should avoid Facebook's own relist, which Vendoo warns creates a new listing ID that a tool can lose track of.

You may already be on Facebook without knowing

Meta has partner feeds that show other marketplaces' listings on Marketplace. It says eBay inventory was integrated first, followed by Poshmark, and that checkout for those listings happens on the partner's site. So your eBay or Poshmark items may already appear to some Facebook buyers, with no extra work, and they'd sell under that marketplace's fees. Listing directly on Facebook adds what the feeds don't: local pickup at no fee, and buyers who message you.

How to crosslist from eBay or Poshmark to Facebook by hand

For a few items a week, doing it yourself takes minutes and teaches you what sells there.

  1. Pick items that suit Facebook: bulky pieces, bundles, and clothes people would buy locally.
  2. Save the photos from your other listing, and check how the first one looks in the preview.
  3. Rewrite the title in plain words. Buyers search "women's winter coat" more than the keyword-heavy titles that work on eBay.
  4. Set a price. Take local sales at the same or lower price, since there's no fee and no postage. For shipped sales, remember the 10% fee with its $0.80 minimum.
  5. Choose local pickup, shipping or both, if your account allows shipping.
  6. Write down that the item is live on Facebook, because you'll have to take it down when it sells elsewhere.

Expect a lot of "is this available" messages. Marking items pending when you agree on a meet saves you from selling the same thing to two people, and it also protects you from the other marketplace's cancellation rules. See what to do if an item sells twice.

How FLIPSAIL handles Facebook Marketplace

FLIPSAIL is our product, and Facebook is its newest marketplace, open to sellers since October 31, 2026. Check your first listings yourself. It runs in your Chrome, in your own Facebook session, so listings and syncing happen while Chrome is open. When an item sells on another marketplace, it marks the Facebook listing sold.

A Facebook sale only exists for FLIPSAIL once the listing is marked sold on Facebook, so it can't see a local handover until you mark it. Mark it as soon as you hand the item over, and the other copies come down. While Chrome is closed, on paid plans with something cross-listed, FLIPSAIL reads 20 of your listings an hour from our servers without using your login, so a big shop takes longer to get round.

If an item sells elsewhere while Chrome is closed, FLIPSAIL can mark the Facebook copy sold from our servers using your stored sign-in. That is the one step that uses your session outside Chrome. In one early test of fuller cloud use, Facebook signed the session out within four hours, so we limit it to that step, and you may sometimes need to sign in again.

The main limit is shipping. FLIPSAIL creates Facebook listings as local pickup, so for shipped Facebook sales you'd add shipping yourself or use another tool. If it runs into a sign-out, a checkpoint or a limit from Facebook, it stops instead of trying again, because being signed out of your own Facebook is worse than a missed listing.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can you crosslist to Facebook Marketplace?

Yes. Flyp, Vendoo, Crosslist, List Perfectly, PrimeLister and FLIPSAIL all post to it, working through your signed-in browser. Facebook has no listing API for individual sellers.

What is cross posting on Facebook Marketplace?

It means listing the same item on Marketplace and on other selling apps, or posting a Marketplace listing into Facebook groups. Selling the same item on several marketplaces is allowed, as long as you remove it from the others when it sells.

How do I crosslist from eBay to Facebook Marketplace?

Use a crosslisting tool that supports both, or copy the photos, write a plainer title and post it on Facebook by hand. Your eBay items may also already appear on Marketplace through Meta's partner feed, with checkout on eBay.

How do I crosslist from Poshmark to Facebook Marketplace?

The same way: a tool that supports both, or by hand. Price local Facebook sales with the fee difference in mind, since Poshmark takes 20% at $15 and up and local Facebook sales carry no Meta fee.

Will crosslisting get my Facebook account restricted?

It can. Vendoo warns of limits for new sellers, and Facebook's terms restrict automated access. Go slowly on a new account, avoid posting in bursts, and stop if Facebook shows a checkpoint.

Do crosslisters auto-delist from Facebook Marketplace?

Some do. Crosslist detects Facebook sales through its Chrome extension and has a cloud version in beta. FLIPSAIL notices once a listing is marked sold on Facebook, and takes the other copies down. Vendoo's auto-delist list leaves Facebook out. Check each tool's current list.
