Black Friday 2026 is November 27 and Cyber Monday is November 30. Only three resale marketplaces have something sellers must act on: Grailed's Cyber '26 sale (opt in by November 16), Mercari's free shipping on $50+ orders (running to January 4), and Etsy's Cyber Specials (November 23 to December 1). The rest leave the discount to you.
The dates that matter to a seller are not the ones on the buyer coupon sites. Grailed's opt-in closes 11 days before Black Friday, and Etsy's marketing deadline has already passed. On most other marketplaces there is no event at all, so any sale is one you run yourself, and nothing stops you from running it through the days that actually sell. In our own numbers from last season, the strong stretch ran from Black Friday through the Wednesday after Cyber Monday.
Everything below was read on November 2, 2026. "Nothing announced" means we found nothing on the marketplace's own seller pages that day, and these marketplaces often announce late, so we recheck on November 16.

Does Grailed have a Black Friday sale? Yes, with a rule that catches crosslisters
Grailed runs Cyber '26 from 1:00 am ET on Monday, November 23 to 12:59 am ET on Monday, December 7. You opt in through a form by November 16 and pick the discount. Sellers who miss the form are out. The discount covers everything you listed in the 90 days before the sale, and Grailed puts prices back when it ends.
Read the terms before you join, because four of them are easy to miss:
- The discount applies on top of any earlier price drops, so a listing you already cut 10% gets cut again.
- Delete anything you don't want discounted by 11:59 pm ET on November 22.
- You may not list new inventory during the sale. New listings risk being discounted and won't be restored to their old price afterwards.
- You can't raise prices on included items from the day you submit the form until the sale ends.
The third rule matters most if you crosslist. Any tool or habit that pushes new items to Grailed between November 23 and December 6 breaks the terms, so if you opt in, take Grailed out of your crosslisting for those two weeks. The fourth means a repricer that can raise a Grailed price should be off for the same period.
Does Mercari have a Black Friday sale? Its free shipping runs all season
Mercari is covering shipping on qualifying orders of $50 or more from October 22, 2026 through January 4, 2027, according to Value Added Resource's report of Mercari's emails to sellers. A single item has to use Mercari's Best Rate prepaid option, while a bundle qualifies on any rate or carrier. Both are limited to 5 lb, with size limits on single shipments.
In practice, a $45 item doesn't get the offer and a $50 item does, so check any listing sitting just under the line. Bundles are the other route to $50 for cheaper stock. Mercari also says Fashion Exchange is coming back, which lets buyers send back some clothing, shoes and bags for credit while the seller still gets paid. No start date has been given.
Does Poshmark have a Black Friday sale?
Poshmark hasn't announced one for 2026 as of November 2. What it has published is a 2026 Holiday Listing Guide that asked sellers to have holiday stock listed by October 31. It names trending brands (Retrofête, Reformation, Dôen, Sorel, Ralph Lauren, Zimmermann, Levi's, Carhartt, Ugg, Vuori, Alo, Patagonia) and trending categories (dresses and skirts, outerwear, sweaters, boots, cold weather accessories). It also confirms December 17 as the USPS Ground Advantage date.
The October 31 date isn't a cutoff. Listing in November still works; you just have less time to collect likes before the busy week. Secondhand Sunday, which Poshmark created in 2022 for the Sunday after Thanksgiving, would fall on November 29, but the most recent official post we could find about it dates from 2023, so don't plan around it.
The two tools worth setting up are offers to likers, which must be at least 10% below list price, and Smart Sell, which sends offers for you down to a floor you set. Poshmark says listings with Smart Sell are "about 50% more likely to sell", without publishing how it measured that.
Does Depop or Vinted do Black Friday sales?
We found no 2026 event on either marketplace's seller pages, so treat both as run-your-own. On Depop, send offers to people who liked an item. Also check your shipping setting: from October 28, 2026, Depop's "Other" shipping option is no longer available on new listings, and a listing you delete and relist switches to Depop Shipping.
On Vinted, its notification rules say members get told when the price of an item they favorited is reduced. That makes a price cut on a favorited item a direct message to an interested buyer, for free. Vinted doesn't publish a minimum cut. Bundle discounts are set by the seller too, and Vinted's US sellers pay no selling fee, so your discount comes straight out of a price that isn't also carrying a commission.

Discounting without giving away your margin
Don't raise prices in November to discount them later. Etsy says outright that the original price must have been in place for a substantial period, and buyers who have favorited an item will notice. Send offers to people who already showed interest first, because that keeps your public price intact for January. If you want a store-wide cut, end it on December 2 rather than Cyber Monday, and work out your floor before the week starts so you aren't deciding at the packing table.
Busy weeks also make double sales more likely, since two buyers can check out before you've taken a copy down. If you list the same item on several apps, have a plan for that before Black Friday.
